There are various gutter guards with different levels of effectiveness. Regardless of the type, they will still require some level of maintenance.

Sticks, leaves, pine needles, pests, and shingle grit collect on top of the gutter guards and still manage to find their way inside the gutters. Over time, this debris will accumulate, and organic matter will begin to grow. This will then prevent water from flowing properly throughout the gutter system.

The time it takes to clean gutters varies depending on the size of your home, pitch of the roof, total linear footage of gutters, how much debris is inside the gutters, etc. Typically, it takes about 1-3 hours to complete a standard gutter cleaning job.

Yes, we use specialized equipment and tools that are not always common for residential homeowners or business owners to have on hand. We use a variety of different sized extension ladders, ladder stabilizers, safety harnesses, leaf blowers, water hoses, gutter and downspout replacement parts, handheld tools, and occasionally chemicals and solutions to effectively clean and care for your gutters and roof.
